Treatment of diathesis in children with folk remedies

Diathesis appears in many babies, manifested by red cheeks, a rash all over the body, restless behavior of the baby, disruption of the digestive tract and other symptoms. Its cause is genetically determined and under the influence of various external factors, the baby's tendency to an allergic reaction to various types of allergens.

Most often, the body of the crumbs reacts to allergens in food, but a reaction can also appear to allergens that get to the baby by contact and air. In the treatment of diathesis, folk recipes are often used. Let's look at what folk remedies can alleviate the condition of the baby and get rid of the manifestations of diathesis on the skin.

Eggshell

This is a very common remedy used in diathesis. A boiled chicken egg is well washed and peeled. The removed shells are left in a warm place in dry conditions for two to three days, after which they are crushed in order to obtain a powder. It is convenient to use a coffee grinder or mortar for grinding.

The remedy is given to the baby twice a day. For a baby under one year old, it is enough to give a small amount of powder (at the tip of a knife), and at 2-3 years of age the dose is doubled and, accordingly, tripled. The crushed shells can be mixed with lemon juice, any food or liquid. The duration of the shell treatment is two or three months. Due to the high calcium content in this remedy, acute symptoms of diathesis are quickly eliminated.

Baths with medicinal plants

Most often it is recommended to use dry chamomile and a series for the preparation of baths. Plants are poured with water and boiled for a quarter of an hour, after which they are left for half an hour and filtered, adding to the baby bath for bathing. These herbs help relieve inflammation and itching.

Try a chicory root bath as well. Pour the chopped root in the amount of 50 grams with a liter of boiled water and let it brew for two hours, then boil for twenty minutes, cool and strain. Pour the resulting product into the crumbs bath.

Homemade ointments

Add fir oil to any baby cream (preferably with vitamin C). Stick to a 3: 1 ratio. Lubricate the baby's skin with the prepared ointment in the affected areas in the morning and in the evening.

Mix together the same amount of ingredients - medical tar, fresh homemade sour cream, fresh egg white and zinc paste. Apply the resulting ointment to the baby's skin several times a day. Do not store such a product for a long time, but prepare a new portion every day.

Other folk recipes

A child with diathesis is advised to give juice squeezed from black radish. For the first samples, a few drops of such juice are enough, gradually the dose is increased to a tablespoon. Have your child drink this juice before meals for 30 minutes three times a day.

A bath with the addition of potatoes is considered a pretty good remedy. For its preparation, four to five potatoes are peeled and chopped on a grater. The resulting mass must be put in boiled water (about 5 liters), removed from heat, mixed well, covered with a lid and left for a quarter of an hour. The filtered liquid will look like jelly.
