Breastfeeding apples: baked, green and red

After the birth of a child, a breastfeeding mother needs to follow a special diet for the first time. The reason for this is that the food products that the mother eats, in their chemical composition, also pass into breast milk. What mom is used to eating can cause allergies, bloating and colic in the baby. After childbirth, only certain types of food can be consumed. Apples are ideal fruits that can be eaten while breastfeeding, and that have a positive effect on the gastrointestinal tract of the mother, and therefore the baby. But apples are also different. Let's consider the topic in more detail.

Pros

  • Apples are rich in vitamins and minerals. They rarely provoke allergies, and nursing mothers can eat them without fear;
  • If apples do not cause digestive disorders in the mother, they will not affect the baby in any way;
  • Baked apples are easier to digest and can replace fresh apples if there are problems with their tolerance.

They contain vitamins E, C, P, B1 and B2, as well as a lot of potassium, which is necessary for the work of the heart muscle, calcium and phosphorus, which helps the absorption of calcium. Apples are a natural source of iron, and this mineral is absorbed best from them. As we know, this substance is the basis for maintaining the correct level of hemoglobin in the blood.

Apple pulp contains a large amount of pectin, a plant fiber that is needed for normal bowel function, which makes apples an excellent remedy for preventing constipation. And apples are also hypoallergenic, they practically do not cause allergic reactions.

Green apples

When breastfed, green apples are perhaps the most hypoallergenic vitamin-rich food B1, B2, C, P, E, and microelements (for example, phosphorus, iron), which are so necessary after childbirth.

Green apples can be eaten in the first days after childbirth.

If a woman suffers from constipation, and this often happens in the last weeks of pregnancy and in the first time after childbirth, then green apples will solve this problem with a bang - indigestible fiber will help to easily empty the intestines.

A green apple will perfectly satisfy your appetite after a tiring delivery. But there is one thing - if a woman's body reacts violently to raw fruits with increased gas production, or discomfort in the stomach from apple acidity, it is still worth refraining from eating them for a while. And try not to forget about the measure - you should not eat more than two or three green apples during the day. Be sure to wash the apples before drinking with warm water.

If you are afraid of causing an allergic reaction in a child, then eat green apples. According to experts, they are the safest.

Red apples

Less popular and less credible when breastfeeding are red apples. It's all about the color of the peel - any red foods are considered strong enough allergens (See what is contraindicated for a nursing mother)... In addition, most varieties of red apples contain more sugar than green apples. Sugar is an additional carbohydrate, which is exactly what threatens pain and colic in the baby's tummy. You should not cause such discomfort to a baby, because at birth his body gradually adjusts to the external environment, the organs learn to function correctly and develop.

But if you really want a red apple as you wanted, then peel it before use. You should not get carried away with red apples also because the acids in them negatively affect the enamel of the teeth. And if we take into account the fact that the calcium in the mother has diminished during pregnancy, and when breastfeeding, it will also go into milk in large quantities to the baby, teeth should be carefully preserved.

Baked apples

Baked apples during the GV period can be called a real delicacy.. Baked apples are the most delicate dessert that is prepared in a matter of minutes, retains all vitamins, and has a very beneficial effect on the gastrointestinal tract. It’s a delicious healthy product. A baked apple is deliciously easy for the body to digest.

Also baked apples naturally regulate blood pressure. It is very simple to prepare such a wonderful product:

The apple must be cored with seeds, but not through and through, but so that the bottom is preserved. In the resulting hole, you can pour half a teaspoon of sugar, or a teaspoon of honey, and sprinkle with any crushed nuts. Put on a baking sheet, or in a mold, you can even put in a frying pan without a plastic handle and put in the oven for 15 minutes. By the appearance of the enchanting apple aroma, you will know that the dessert is ready! Instead of an oven, you can use a microwave oven - it takes no more than 10 minutes to cook a baked apple.
