In the summer, it is not hard to find things to do, as the good weather and the holidays contribute in every way. At the same time, winter is no worse. There are tons of fun activities you can try, many of which are "exclusive" for the winter thanks to the snow. Build a gorgeous snowman, arrange a battle for a snow castle or make a bird feeder - all this is just a small part of your possibilities!
The cold snowy winter only seems endless, but in fact there is only one week in February! It's time to remember the entertainment that is available only in winter and which we always put off for later.
Wonderful snowman
In childhood, every child must have memories of making a snowman. This is a real symbol of winter, as well as a bright decoration in any yard. Pick a day with ideal weather for this - with temperatures around zero degrees, when the snow is molded best, and then feel free to start creating: the snow will easily roll into balls. The classic snowman is molded from three balls of different sizes, but no one forbids you to experiment.
To make your snowman come alive, be sure to create a face with buttons or coals and a carrot or bump nose. Do not forget to finish your hands (make arms and legs from twigs or small snowballs), and if you wish, you can wear a hat and an old scarf. Clothes can be painted: gouache and a wide brush are useful. To prevent hooligans from the yard from breaking the creation, pour water on the snowman in the late evening. Frost will create a crust of ice that will only harden the snow globes.
Winter battle
What's winter without snowballing? Throwing snow at your friends and hiding in a castle you built yourself is exciting and fun. Parents, thanks to modern baby clothes, will not have to fear for their children. Special cuffs and waterproofness of the material perfectly protect from snow and warm the body.
Buckets can be prepared from the inventory for creating snow fortifications, as well as snowballs. With their help, it is easy and quick to create ammunition for a future war. If you build a fortress out of snow and split into two squads, then the battle can take on a truly epic scale. The number of participants in such a battle is unlimited!
Hang the feeder
Wintering birds have a very hard time, because it is problematic to get food. Do a good deed - build a feeder. You can create it from a regular bottle or a small wooden pallet. The feeder can be hung not only on the trees, but also on your balcony. Place seeds, pieces of bacon, or millet inside and observe all kinds of birds from your area up close.
Winter picnic
Enjoy the snowy days while you can: slushy spring is ahead. A picnic in a park or forest is a great idea. Take with you cookies or sandwiches, as well as always warm tea or coffee in a thermos. In sunny weather, you can always arrange a stylish photo session against the background of snowy plains and with a ruddy face and mittens.
Snow art
Than you snow surface is not a canvas for drawing. You can literally write painting masterpieces on it. You will need:
- liter or half liter bottle;
- solution with paint (dilute food colors, watercolor or gouache in water);
- bottle stopper with a hole.
Pour the resulting composition into a bottle and screw on the cap. Create patterns and pictures in the snow with light movements. Similarly, you can color the snowman by drawing any clothes you can think of for him.
