My first experience of working from home was unfortunate. I entered the marketing pyramid. I had to make a payment and then do the mailing list to attract new members who, like me, will contribute their funds. A lot of time and effort was spent, but no result. I couldn't even get back the money I invested.
Then I registered on one of the copywriting exchanges (it was an exchange ). At first it seemed to me that nothing worthwhile writing articles would work. All the orders that were offered to me as a beginner cost a penny, and there were a lot of requirements. I refused such orders. I advise you to do the same: your own work must be respected!
First difficulties
I was very lucky with my first customer. Despite the fact that he was very demanding, he treated me with patience: he always met me, explained incomprehensible moments. I was already beginning to feel confident in my abilities, as I made a mistake. I took an order on a legal topic, but could not achieve the desired uniqueness. The customer gave me a bad rating and my rating dropped. Fortunately, my first customer continued to work with me. I was able to raise my rating and slowly moved on.
The most difficult thing at the initial stage for me was to achieve high uniqueness of the texts. I've always fiddled with this for a very long time. But with experience, uniqueness ceased to be a problem.
Like many newcomers, I worked practically for days, but the earnings were small. This happened because I was still paid little, and writing articles took a lot of time. But gradually my rating and professionalism grew, the circle of customers expanded. There are people who constantly work with me, I already know their requirements and can be sure that I will not have to expect any unpleasant surprises from them.
What is important for those who earn money at home
Working from home is not just a plus. Freelancers also face serious difficulties that must be learned to overcome. For those who work for themselves, organization and discipline are very important. For example, at first I had the habit of putting off work until the very last moment. As a result, I had to write at night, which affected both the efficiency and the quality of the texts, my well-being and appearance.
Social networks, news on the Internet and household chores are distracting from work, so you need to clearly plan your day.
It can also be noted that when working as a copywriter, there is not enough live communication. But on the other hand, not everyone can boast of a good team with which they develop excellent relations.
Copywriting is a sedentary job. You need to be able to be distracted, walk more, move, ride a bike, visit the pool or gym.
There are also downtime times. Sometimes there are not enough good orders (especially in summer), sometimes fatigue rolls over or there is simply no inspiration.
But there are a lot of advantages from working as a copywriter:
- you do not depend on bosses and bosses, which are often simply unbearable;
- you yourself plan the time of work and the time of rest;
- no need to waste time getting to the office;
- no need to buy business suits and worry about dress code;
- you receive money constantly, not once a month;
- you can spend time with your child and family;

- there is always work, regardless of where you live and where you are;
- less stress and nerve costs.
In addition, copywriting contributes to self-development. Thanks to a variety of orders, you study all the time, you begin to understand various fields: construction, medicine, law. I really like what I am doing now.
My achievements
I have been working as a copywriter for just over two years. I have my own style, I type quickly and can create interesting, high quality and unique texts. I gradually raised the price of my services, and now I am trusted with large, interesting and highly paid orders.
My husband and I divorced, and copywriting allows me to support myself and my child. I constantly set myself new goals for the number of characters written and for the amount of earnings, and I successfully achieve them.
