Reviews

Parents' reviews say that Teraligen helps children in many cases, including stuttering, tics, night fears, anxiety, poor sleep, hyperactivity. For example, the mother of a 5-year-old boy wrote that taking the drug helped an autistic child - there were clear signs of improved speech. And this is after 1.5 months of treatment.

In another review, the parents said that the child was prescribed "Teraligen" for stuttering. The girl had a slight defect since she was 2.2 years old, but with age she began to stutter even more. The neurologist prescribed Teraligen and a psycho-protective regime, advised the parents not to speak quickly. Treatment began during a trip to the sea, and after that the child went to kindergarten, forgetting about stuttering.

A review is also given when the medicine was prescribed by a neurologist after the appearance of generalized tics in a child at the age of 6 years with hyperdynamics, insomnia and fears. Other drugs did not help, and after the first day of taking Teraligen, the child became calmer, on the second day the number of tics decreased. Mom hopes that the treatment will help in the future.

Judging by the responses of the doctors, they are also pleased with the results of taking Teraligen in small patients. A mild drug is prescribed even from 2 years old. For example, a girl was diagnosed with hyperactivity and attention deficit. The drug treatment made the child calmer - the girl attended kindergarten, went to the first grade. She has no behavioral problems, mom and teacher are happy.

Analogs

"Teraligen" refers to the pharmacological group of antipsychotic drugs or antipsychotics. According to the active substance, the only analogue of the drug can be called Teraligen® Valenta, based on a similar main component.

Other antipsychotics are similar to Teraligen in their therapeutic effects, but contain other active ingredients. And not all of these drugs are approved for use by children, therefore, when replacing, a doctor's appointment is needed.

For psychosomatic disorders, including fears, stuttering, doctors often prescribe other drugs to children - nootropics. Their name comes from the Latin "thinking". The action is aimed at the higher functions of the brain: they improve memory, learning ability, stimulate cognitive functions and mental activity, but at the same time increase the brain's resistance to negative influences. These drugs have fewer contraindications and side effects, therefore they are more often used in childhood.

So, an analogue of "Teraligen" in terms of the therapeutic effect of stuttering may be the nootropic "Pantocalcin" of the Russian manufacturer... Packing "Teraligen" costs more than 500 rubles in pharmacies in Moscow, "Pantocalcin" - from 400 rubles.
