Educational fairy tales for children, recommended by psychologists

All fairy tales, invented by parents, are needed in order to show the child, using the example of a character, how to behave correctly in different life situations. Even the name itself suggests that a fairy tale should teach a child something.

Many psychologists believe that all stories carry a certain scenario of life, so you should be careful when choosing a work for your child. All of them share their life experiences with the child, allow them to understand folk wisdom in a simple and understandable form. Small, instructive and creatively written fairy tales not only allow to form moral qualities in a child, but also make him think, develop imagination and creativity.

Why do you need to tell fairy tales to children?

They help to form an understanding of the environment, about good and evil. Observing the fairy-tale characters, the child becomes more aware of good and bad deeds. The works not only develop, teach, but also educate.

By projecting himself most often on fairy-tale characters, the child, together with the hero, finds a way out of any difficult situations. Fairy tales can comfort even the smallest listener.

How to choose instructive tales?

Preschoolers like to talk about moral norms of behavior, because it brings up positive qualities: kindness, responsiveness, responsibility. Fairy tales should be chosen by age, taking into account individual characteristics. When difficult situations arise, parents can use excerpts from instructive fairy tales, thereby showing how you could have done differently. At the same time, one should try to choose kind, smart and positive fairy tales.

Sample list:

  1. For babies, you can choose jokes, poems by A. Barto, S. Marshak. Fairy tales should be short, with a simple plot, for example, the folk tales "Kolobok"; "Teremok", "Turnip".

Fairy tales for children about cars, toys and animals

Young children are interested in beautiful and bright books made of cardboard or other material, and especially in the form of their favorite characters. They like to listen to short poems and songs. It is advisable that the book be in a dense design, for example, cardboard, so that your child does not tear it. Indeed, most of all during this period they like to look at pictures and turn over sheets.

  • In the year, kids begin to be active and explore the world, so interest in books fades a little. But this is temporary, so sometimes keep reading or reviewing them anyway.
  • At 2-3 years old, children love fairy tales about their favorite toys, for example, about a dog, a doll or a typewriter that did not obey the mother, did not want to eat or help. They also always listen to funny stories about animals. This is because the child associates himself with a fairytale hero and sometimes corrects his mother, prompting her to similar situations from his life. For example, a child may say in the middle of a fairy tale, "Bunny doesn't want to put away toys." Here, just the parents can tell you how you can help the bunny.
  • At 3 years old, children love to listen to great works. You can split the story into several nights. Children already remember well and are able to tell you where you stopped last evening, so they are even more interested. Before continuing the tale, be sure to remember all the important points and discuss them. Include educational stories and fairy tales about letters, numbers, cognitive moments from the world around you in your lists.

Mom is a storyteller

Children listen to all mother's fairy tales from early childhood with special interest, because more often mothers spend all day at the workplace, and reading their favorite fairy tale not only gives mutual pleasure, but also gives such moments where they can enjoy the long-awaited communication.

Fairy tales invite mom to see and feel the child's world. This, of course, is one of the important points for parents who want to find a compromise and understanding with their child. In the process of composing a fairy tale, you can decide, together with your child, what kind of fairy tale it will be - short or long. Be sure to involve the child's imagination in a fairy tale.

Mom's fairy tale can cure any child's behavior, the main thing is to choose the right and appropriate story for the baby. In this case, the educational effect will be achieved in a mild form, without notations and requirements. Listening to mom's fairy tales, the baby not only learns the unknown and new for himself, but also learns important life lessons.

And finally, I want to say: read as often as possible, especially before bedtime, because this is the most mysterious time, give children fairy tales, tell and compose - after all, this is a very valuable communication time!
