DTP vaccine for a child who has a cyst in the brain

anonymously, about a boy, 1 year old

Hello. The baby is almost 6 months old. At 1 month, a cyst was found in the brain. When re-examined at 3 months, she disappeared, but the expansion remained, according to the doctor, even became larger. Please tell me if this can negatively affect the further development of the child if he is vaccinated with DPT (vaccinations were given only in the maternity hospital and again in 1 month from hepatitis B). Thanks in advance.

Hello! Vaccinations will not affect the cyst in any way. You need to have an MRI of the brain with contrast at least once a year to control the situation. Otherwise, head injuries and strenuous exercise should be avoided. This does not affect the quality of life.
