Mantoux for a premature baby

anonymously, about a boy, 1 year old

Hello! Please tell me if it is possible and necessary to put a mantoux reaction if a refusal of vaccinations is written up to a year. The baby was born prematurely, 995 grams, at 29-30 weeks (now 9 months). Now we are being seen by a neurologist, we are undergoing a course of recovery, we are lagging behind in development at the moment. Will the reaction of the mantoux, if necessary, affect the delay in development?

It is possible and necessary. Mantoux is not a vaccination, it is a test for the presence of tuberculosis bacteria in the body. It will not in any way affect the development of your child and can save his life if tuberculosis bacteria are present in the body.
