Lymphomyosot for children: instructions for use

Inflammation of the lymph nodes or tonsils brings the child severe discomfort, as it manifests itself in pain, fever and other unpleasant symptoms. One of the remedies often used for such problems is Lymphomyosot. This is a homeopathic medicine from the well-known company Heel. Is it prescribed to children and how does the child's body react to such a remedy?

Release form

Lymphomyosot is produced in two forms:

  • dropswhich are taken orally. They are represented by a clear yellow liquid placed in a volume of 30 milliliters in a glass dropper bottle. 1 ml of this product contains 21 drops;
  • ampoules with liquid without any odor and color, intended for intramuscular injection. One box sells 5 or 100 ampoules of 1.1 ml.

Composition

The active components of Lymphomyosot (both forms) are the following natural substances:

  • diluted D3 presents the ingredients obtained from walnut (Juglans regia), knotweed (Scrophularia nodosa) and field forget-me-not (Myosotis arvensis), as well as sage redwood (Teucrium scorodonia) and Veronica officinalis (Veronica officinalis).
  • diluted D4 The preparation contains substances from winter horsetail (Equisetum hyemale), pharmacy smoke (Fumaria officinalis), Robert's geranium (Geranium robertianum), watercress (Nasturtium officinale) and pine (Pinus sylvestris), as well as Natrium sulfuricum.
  • dilution D5 the product contains compounds from gentian yellow (Gentiana lutea).
  • diluted D6 the drops and solution contain components from the common cross spider (Araneus diadematus) and smilax (Sarsaparilla).
  • dilution D12 in Lymphomyosote there are calcium phosphoricum (Calcium phosphoricum) and iron iodide (Ferrum jodatum), as well as the substance Levothyroxinum.

Additionally, the drops contain ethyl alcohol and water, and in the injectable form - sterile water and sodium chloride.

Operating principle

Lymphomyosot has an effect on the lymphatic system. In particular, the agent is able to activate the outflow of lymph from various tissues and organs, as a result of which their impaired functions are normalized, and the body's defenses are strengthened. This action provides an anti-inflammatory, anti-exudative, detoxification and immunocorrective effect from the use of drops or injections.

Thanks to Lymphomyosot, the size of enlarged lymph nodes or tonsils is reduced, the child's immune system is more actively fighting infectious agents, the focus of inflammation is reduced, and toxins are more likely to leave the body, which leads to quick relief from body aches, fever and other symptoms of malaise.

Indications

The tool is used:

  • With lymphatic edema.
  • With lymphadenitis.
  • With inflammation of the lymphatic vessels.
  • For chronic tonsillitis, laryngitis or pharyngitis.
  • With edema that appeared as a result of injury or surgery.
  • With edema provoked by diabetes mellitus.
  • With edema caused by kidney or heart disease.
  • For allergic diseases.
  • With various intoxications, for example, caused by chemicals, drugs, tuberculosis, physical and other factors.
  • For skin rashes caused by bowel disease.
  • With acquired immunodeficiencies.
  • With benign tumors, as well as with malignant neoplasms.
  • With sinusitis, runny nose and other chronic diseases in the nasopharynx.

From what age is it allowed to take?

The instruction for Lymphomyosot includes information that such a remedy is not recommended until the age of 18. This limitation is due to insufficient study of the effect of the drug on children and the lack of clinical studies. However, in practice, doctors prescribe Lymphomyosot from birth if there are good reasons for taking drops or a course of injections.

Contraindications

Both drops and injections are not prescribed for hypersensitivity to any of their ingredients. The presence of thyroid diseases in a child requires increased attention of the doctor when treating with Lymphomyosot. In addition, due to the presence of alcohol drops in the composition, this form is prescribed with caution in diseases of the brain, traumatic brain injuries and liver pathologies.

Side effects

Taking drops can provoke allergies (hives, itchy skin). In such a situation, the remedy must be canceled immediately. In addition, quite often with the beginning of the use of Lymphomyosot, as with the use of other homeopathic remedies, the patient's condition may worsen for a short time. With such a reaction, it is also advised to stop taking it and seek the advice of a doctor.

Instructions for use

Drops in the dosage prescribed by the doctor are dissolved in 10 ml of water and given to the child to drink. If possible, the drug should be retained in the mouth for a few seconds. But this will not work with young children, so they can drip the product directly under the tongue without diluting it.

The number of drops is determined by the age of the little patient:

  • For babies in the first year of life, 1-2 drops are usually enough for an appointment.
  • For a child 1-3 years old, the drug is prescribed 3 drops.
  • Children from 3 to 6 years old (for example, at 4 years old) are given 5 drops per appointment.
  • For a child 6-12 years old, a single dose of the drug is 7 drops.
  • A teenager 12 years old or older is given 10 drops each.

Often in such doses, Lymphomyosot is taken three times a day. The remedy is given to children either 20 minutes before meals, or one hour after meals. The duration of treatment is determined individually, as it depends on the nature of the disease and its course. In this case, most often drops are prescribed in a course of 2 to 5 weeks.

As for injections, in this form, Lymphomyosot is prescribed for children less often than in drops. A single dose, frequency of administration and duration of use for a particular child should be determined by the doctor, since these parameters depend on both the disease itself and the age of the patient.

Overdose

Cases of the negative effect of an exceeded dose of Lymphomyosot have not been mentioned before. The danger of such a drug in drops in a large dose is associated only with a high concentration of ethanol in its composition, therefore, in case of an overdose, you should immediately consult a doctor.

Interaction with other drugs

In the accompanying Lymphomyosot annotation, it is noted that such a remedy is compatible with different drugs. It can be used together with other homeopathy as well as with antibiotics, immunomodulators and other medicines.

Terms of sale

Lymphomyosot drops are sold in pharmacies without a prescription and cost an average of 470-530 rubles per bottle. To purchase an injection form, you must obtain a prescription from your doctor. The average price of 5 ampoules is 400 rubles.

Storage conditions

It is recommended to store lymphomyosot at home at room temperature where a small child cannot reach the remedy. The shelf life of both forms is 5 years. If it has expired, it is prohibited to give the drug to the child.

Reviews

On the use of Lymphomyosot in children, you can find mostly good reviews. Such a homeopathic remedy is liked by mothers for its natural composition, convenient form of release (it is easy to count the dose in drops and swallow for a child) and effective action.

According to many parents, the drug helped the child well with adenoids, edema or enlarged lymph nodes. However, there are also negative reviews in which mothers complain about the lack of any effect from taking drops. Also, many parents attribute its high price to the disadvantages of the product.

Analogs

There are no other drugs that have the same composition as Lymphomyosot on the pharmaceutical market yet. For this reason, replacing drops or injections with other medicines is possible only after consulting a doctor. For example, with chronic tonsillitis, a child can be prescribed Yoks, Miramistin, Imudon, Tonsilgon N, Tantum Verde and other means.

Among homeopathic remedies, instead of Lymphomyosot for hypertrophy of the adenoids, tonsillitis or chronic inflammation of the tonsils, they are used:

  • Angin-Hel SD tablets. They are recommended to dissolve in children over 12 years old.
  • Granules Barberry comp. They dissolve under the tongue until they are completely dissolved. The drug is used in children over three years old.
  • Tonsilotren tablets. This drug for resorption is used from the age of three.
