Yandex.Taxi has launched a new "Children's" tariff in St. Petersburg. Now passengers with children can call a car with one or two seats for children of different ages.
Only drivers with the highest ratings can travel with children. They receive additional training, learn how to properly install and adjust the seats, communicate with parents and respond correctly to the behavior of young passengers. The course for drivers was developed by Yandex.Taxi employees together with psychologists of the Institute of Preschool Education and Family Education.
Pre-selected cars will come for orders at the tariff.
Especially for the launch of the “Children's” tariff, we purchased Cybex Aura Fix chairs, which are suitable for children from one to 12 years old. They comply with the European safety standard ECE-R44 / 04 and have received high marks in tests of the German Automobile Society ADAC.
We also allowed to work in the tariff some of the seats and boosters that the taxi companies-partners of the service had before. They were carefully selected by Yandex.Taxi employees. During the inspection, the manufacturer and model, condition and age-appropriateness were checked.
The cost of car delivery at the new rate is 149 rubles with a child seat and 99 rubles with a booster. The price includes 5 minutes of free waiting for the passenger. This is more than in other tariffs - there should be enough time to seat the child and make sure that he is securely fastened.

Yandex.Taxi and Agushi's investments in the new service amount to 80 million rubles. The bulk of these funds went to purchase 8,300 Cybex Aura Fix child seats, which will be received by Yandex.Taxi partner parks in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod and Omsk.
