10 ways to make your life with your baby easier without helpers

Standing on the verge of a future independent life with a small child, a young mother is not always confident in herself. She is worried about her own inexperience. 10 practical tips to help overcome doubts and help out in a situation where you have to cope with a baby alone.

Left alone for the first time with a small child, it is easy to get confused by the many responsibilities that will need to be performed with the baby in your arms. Especially when you don't have to count on the support of a caring grandmother or an experienced nanny.

Do not worry. Reality will turn out to be life-like and ordinary. And compliance with a dozen simple rules will weed out many problems.

1. Rest when your baby is asleep

In most cases, the baby's mother is chronically sleep deprived. Take every opportunity to regain your lost strength. Get some rest every time your baby falls asleep. No matter what time it happens: morning, afternoon or evening. Take a nap or just lie down with your eyes closed. This will help you recover.

Now you live in the same rhythm with your baby. So follow his example and gain strength when he sleeps.

2. Do not deny yourself the pleasure

Do not take your duties as a dull routine while watching ideal beauties with angel-like children on social networks. They have nothing to do with reality.

Sitting at home with your child, you can always make time for an interesting book or new series. Pamper yourself with activities that bring you joy and inspiration. The kid will fully appreciate the positiveness of your mood.

3. Don't overwork yourself

The desire to be a super exemplary mom and hostess is understandable, but not always realistic. It is not possible to clean the house flawlessly in a day, prepare gourmet food, wash, clean and wash. You will be busy with your child most of the time. Therefore, include in your plans for the day what you can do. Give up difficult or meaningless tasks. It is not at all necessary to iron the diapers on both sides or lay out perfectly even stacks of clothes in the dresser in color.

4. Feel free to ask for help

Do not take on all household chores without exception. Share some part with your husband. For example, taking out the trash, walking the dog or shopping for groceries will not be a burden for him, and you will save valuable time.

Feel free to ask your friends to do something helpful. On the way to visit you, they can buy missing products or go to the pharmacy. An easy task will turn into practical help for you.

5. Use modern technology

Household appliances make life incredibly simple. Make the most of them. A multicooker will save you from standing at the stove for a long time, and a juicer and a toaster will provide a light breakfast in a couple of minutes.

Dishwasher and multifunctional vacuum cleaner, air purifier and steam ironing system are your comfort and time saving. Plan a place for them in the family budget and on the wish list. You will not go wrong.

6. Order services online

Service centers are gaining momentum in popularity. Take an interest in this segment. Now here you can find useful services at a reasonable price. An online order will save the situation in case of a sudden problem: do you need a nanny for a couple of hours, food delivery or urgent plumbing repairs.

Perhaps you will find a suitable service for regular use: cleaning, delivery of goods, walking pets.

7. Do household chores with your child

The kid in the house does not interfere with homework. Dozens of things you can do with him. Use a portable playpen. The baby will be there, see you and hear you. You will be able to communicate without interrupting your work.

A disgruntled whimsical requires close contact? Master a sling. So you free your hands for work, and the baby will fully feel your closeness.

8. Be open to new acquaintances

Your current status unwittingly limits your social circle. Try to expand it with new acquaintances. The same young mothers can become you good friends. Sharing information, news and advice will make walking together pleasant and rewarding. A casual conversation in a children's clinic can develop into many years of cordial communication, and children will learn the lessons of their first friendship.

9. Do not deprive your husband of attention

Naturally, the baby is now the center of your care and affection. It is at this time that young husbands often feel abandoned and forgotten. Avoid family alienation. Let your dad be involved in your shared world with baby. Be condescending to his awkwardness and mistakes.

Take time to be alone. Don't let mutual interest disappear. Take inspiration from each other.

10. Remember that things will change soon.

Before you look back, the piles of diapers, night feeds and your own insecurities will be a thing of the past. The kid will grow up. You will be able to negotiate with him and give simple instructions. It will become much easier for you.

And it may happen that just then you suddenly realize that you really need another child.
