"Breathe" products for children

The risk of colds and viral infections in the winter increases significantly, so every mother strives to protect her children from hypothermia and virus attacks. Often, herbal remedies with a natural base are chosen for this, which doctors say are safer. An excellent example of such anti-cold remedies is the “Breathe” line, which is produced by the Russian company “Aquion”.

Studies of such drugs have confirmed their effectiveness in the prevention of colds., and if the child is still sick, then their use shortens the duration of the disease and greatly facilitates the condition.

Release form and composition

The most popular of the "Breathe" products is oil. It is sold in 10 ml bottles in dark glass bottles that have a dropper. It also comes in spray form. These bottles contain 30 ml of oil and are equipped with a spray system. Recently, packs of 10 ml of oil have also appeared on sale, which are accompanied by a special inhaler bracelet.

The composition of "Dyshi" oil includes six different essential oils: most of all in such a solution of mint and eucalyptus oil, cajeput, juniper, clove and wintergreen are presented in slightly smaller quantities. To them is added another active ingredient - levomenthol, as well as demineralized water and an emulsifier.

The inhaler patch "Breathe" can be called no less popular. It has a rectangular shape with rounded edges and is a non-woven strip with a protective film, under which is a sticky substance with 5 essential oils (fir, lavender, mint, turpentine and eucalyptus), supplemented with levomenthol.

After detaching the protective cover, these substances begin to be released into the air and affect the respiratory tract by inhalation.

Other anti-cold remedies in the line include the following.

  • A gel with a warming effect, used for hypothermia. It is presented in a bottle with a dispenser, inside of which there is 30 ml of a pleasantly smelling gel mass. It contains levomenthol, badger fat and 5 essential oils - from fir, lavender, mint, eucalyptus and turpentine.
  • A gel that is applied to the skin around the nose. It is sold in 10 ml bottles with a dispenser. The basis of this gel is D-panthenol and vitamin E, as well as essential oils obtained from eucalyptus, cloves and mint. To them are added herbal extracts from violets, chamomile and linden.
  • Lozenges used for discomfort in the throat. They are for children (contain honey, chamomile, marshmallow, linden, peppermint oil, vitamin C and zinc) and adults (include menthol, aloe extract, dried raspberries and 7 essential oils). 12 lozenges are sold in one pack.
  • A sachet with powder, from which a warm healthy drink is prepared, which helps to recover faster from a cold. They are sold in packs of 10 and, depending on the composition, are intended for children (contain chamomile, linden, zinc and vitamin C) or adults (works thanks to extracts of sage, thyme, ginger and propolis).

Operating principle

The healing effects of Breathe Oil and Spray are due to their active ingredients.

  • The vapors of the oil obtained from juniper have a positive effect on non-specific immunity. They prevent the spread of colds and viral diseases during the season when such infections affect large numbers of people.
  • Peppermint oil has an analgesic effect, which is important if a cold comes with a headache. In addition, its vapors invigorate and make breathing easier.
  • Clove oil is known for its antiseptic properties, due to which it decontaminates indoor air. In addition, it reduces inflammation and pain.
  • The inclusion of eucalyptus oil in the aromatic composition "Breathe" strengthens the defenses, which prevents flu and colds. If the child is already sick, such a component will inhibit pathogens, which will speed up recovery.
  • The oil extracted from the white tea tree (also called cajeput) has tonic and anti-inflammatory properties. It is also a good antiseptic.
  • Oil from the leaves of the gault (wintergreen) affects the respiratory system and reduces the activity of inflammatory processes in this localization.
  • Menthol has a mild antispasmodic effect, due to which this natural substance helps with laryngitis, bronchitis, coryza or pharyngitis. This ingredient also reduces pain and acts on harmful germs.

The addition of fir oil to the plaster gives it bactericidal and antiviral properties.

Lavender oil present in the sticky mass is also an antiseptic and facilitates breathing through the nose, and turpentine oil is included in such a medical device due to its distracting and analgesic effects. Once the sticker is attached to clothing or other surface, the effects of the oils on the respiratory tract last up to 8 hours.

Thanks to the badger oil, the warming gel increases blood flow in the treated area and also softens the skin. The addition of essential oils to the composition of such rubbing allows you to influence the respiratory organs by inhalation. The presence of panthenol and vitamin E in the gel for the skin around the nose contributes to nutrition and hydration of the skin, and plant extracts in such a product have anti-inflammatory effect and eliminate irritation.

The components of the lozenges have the ability to influence the nasopharynx and throat, normalizing the state of the mucous membrane. They restore it in case of inflammation and damage, help to cough up phlegm, and eliminate discomfort.

The ingredients of "Dyshi" drinks help to compensate for dehydration, eliminate toxins and microbes, soften the throat and relieve coughing.

Breathe plasters are most often used for a cold, as they do a good job with nasal congestion. In addition, such stickers are used at night, to improve the quality of the baby's sleep.

The warming gel is used in children who are overcooled to prevent colds, as well as at the first symptoms of the disease. The gel, which is used to lubricate the skin in the nasal area, is in demand for a runny nose, when a child develops dryness and irritation.

Lozenges are used for coughs, pain and sore throat, and the main task of using drinks is to give the child more warm drink, to quickly cope with acute respiratory infections.
