Russian psychologists have compiled a rating of the most harmful cartoons for the psyche of children, Planet Today reported.
The leading line of this rating is headed by the bright series "Masha and the Bear". Experts say that a cartoon can become a bad example for kids who can adopt Masha's habits, for example, start behaving badly and being capricious, not realizing that they are doing bad deeds.
The cartoon "Monster High" turned out to be slightly lower in the rating. According to the compilers of the rating in this story, the main characters (students of the Monster School) behave excessively relaxed, allow themselves to skip lessons, regularly using slang jargon. This fact can negatively affect the child's vocabulary.
SpongeBob with his square pants is on the third step of the rating. Psychologists have emphasized that "Yellow Sponge" manifests itself in the role of an egoist, regularly criticizing the actions of adult characters.
The well-known animated series "Tom and Jerry" took the fourth place, where a mouse, mocking a cat, came under the watchful eye of specialists! According to them, the behavior on the screen can be regarded as an attempt to impermissible attitude of children towards adults.
By the way, the cartoon "Masha and the Bear" has gained popularity among young audiences not only in Russia, but is also successfully perceived by residents of Italy, Germany, Indonesia, Great Britain and even the countries of the East. It is clear that oriental girls fell in love with Masha because she always appears in the frame wearing a headscarf.
