Here are the stories of 3 women for whom the birth of a child was a real torture.

"It is worth taking the baby in your arms - and any pain will pass!" - assures the majority of women in labor. Here are the stories of 3 women for whom the birth of a child was a real torture.

Ekaterina, 30 years old

“I wanted to give birth in a perinatal center, intending to pay a rather large amount. But, unfortunately, everything went completely wrong. Closer to the PDR, I managed to get sick and therefore could not go there at the right time. And now, at 41 weeks, the doctor from the antenatal clinic sends me to the pathology department to stimulate labor. It was from that moment that my torture began.

On the first day of the hospital, they were not going to do anything with me at all - the uterus opened only by 1 finger. The next day, the nurse brought some kind of pill, which immediately made me sick, and then injected something to soften the neck. On the evening of the third day, a special gel was injected into the vagina, thanks to which the process still began. Unbearable contractions began, with which I suffered until the next night. Then the cork came off, and the uterus opened up to 4 fingers. The previous strong contractions were replaced by less intense ones.

Later I was transferred to the prenatal ward and put 2 drips with oxytocin. But that didn't help either! The opening went very slowly, labor was still as weak, and the mind was already clouded with pain. The picture was supplemented by a shift change. Another midwife constantly screamed that I was lying incorrectly and could crush the child, did not pay attention to me at all and behaved rudely. Finally, attempts began and after a medical examination I was "allowed" to give birth. However, they were in no hurry to take them to the hospital. Imagine, I was lying in the prenatal until the baby's head appeared !!! Only after that I was transferred to a gurney and taken to the delivery room, where oxytocin was injected again. At that time, about 20 hours had passed since the beginning of labor. 6 of them, the baby was left without amniotic fluid. Plus, a double cord entanglement was diagnosed.

Then there was real hell. I was tied to a chair, the midwife was screaming all the time, I tried to push with all my strength, continuing to lie under a dropper, which is completely forbidden ... There was practically no strength left, no one did an epizootic, everything inside was torn. However, I did not feel these breaks - for me the whole process was one huge pain. It became easier for me only after my daughter appeared. Then they somehow sewed me up and left me lying in the corridor for 2 hours. The baby was brought in only 4 hours later. She was also not very lucky - during childbirth, the doctors brought in staphylococcus, so the eyes were festering, and the skin left without lubrication was dry. This is how my labor went - late (at 42 weeks), painful and with green waters. Three years have passed since then, but the memory keeps slipping unpleasant memories. One thing I can say for sure - I do not plan any more children. "

Elena, 20 years old

“I hasten to reassure you - this is not the case for everyone, so there is no need to worry in advance. The harbingers of my birth appeared late at night. My husband and I went to the hospital. The midwife examined and announced that there was no disclosure yet, but the cervix was already completely ready for childbirth. They made an enema, after which the plug immediately came off and it was the turn of strong attempts. It seemed as if I was being cut from the inside with a knife. The contractions became so frequent that I could hardly breathe. I remember wondering then - how some of them also manage to sleep during contractions!

I barely made it to 4 in the morning and went to the doctor. It turned out that the uterus opened only by 1 finger. At 11 am - 2.5 fingers, at 5 pm - only 4. I was again given an enema and taken to the delivery block. Opening up to 6 fingers was accompanied by such terrible pain that I begged to be put to sleep, have a caesarean or shoot me right now. 8 fingers became one terrible fight, from which I screamed like a cut. With great difficulty, I still began to give birth. At the same time, the intimate place burned as if it was being torn apart. After 3 attempts, my son was born, leaving behind 2 cracks and a terrible pain in the stomach. And so it turned out that I do not tolerate pain very well. "

Tatiana, 24 years old

“My childbirth was difficult both physically and morally. The first contractions were very light. I entered the antenatal department in a good maternity hospital. The indicators are excellent, the cork has not come off, the opening is one finger, ultrasound and CTG are ideal. Then they gave a pill of Miropriston, which worked after 8 hours. The whole day was spent in contractions that I did not notice. In the evening I drank 1 more pill. By 22 o'clock, the contractions became stronger. After examination, it turned out that the disclosure is only 2.5 fingers, but the doctor pierced the bladder without warning. The drained waters were clear. They gave me an enema and told me to go to the shower.

At midnight she returned to the delivery room. There they made me a CTG. The contractions were strong, but the opening was very slow. At 2 am, it remained 2 fingers. I already started yelling, the doctor came. At 4 am, the uterus opened only 4.5 fingers. I started delirious. The midwife beat me on the cheeks, cursed, pulled at my arms and legs. I asked for anesthesia - some kind of anesthetic was injected into the buttock. The injection did not help, but vomiting began. I realized that something was going wrong. It turned out that the umbilical cord wrapped around the baby's neck. I had almost no strength left, I began to behave inappropriately, and this bastard just left me in the maternity hospital to die. At the same time, she said a lot of unpleasant things and assured me that I would give birth to a dead baby. I suffered until the morning, until another midwife through the vagina untangled the umbilical cord and manually opened the cervix up to 7.5 fingers. She also took delivery. Twice I fainted, and the evil midwife scolded me, called me names with obscene words and poured water over me. I no longer had the strength to push, and the head still did not go through. They cut me all the way to the anus, tore my neck, made a couple of cuts. I barely gave birth to the head, and then the blue body of my girl. The girl was put on my stomach. She did not even scream, but only after a few seconds began to make sounds. On the Apgar scale - 7 points.

To convey what I felt at that moment, there are no words in any language of the world. The crotch was sewn up, and I was transferred to the ward. It was only there that I realized that I could lose my child. All my life I will be grateful to that midwife for saving my daughter. I didn't file a complaint against another doctor - I just didn't have enough nerves. But it's a pity that it is precisely because of such terrible and inattentive doctors that many are afraid of childbirth. Take care of yourself and your children! "
